Nearby Attractions

For for those who love their wines the Langhorne Creek wine region is a peaceful 30 minute drive and would be our top pick. Nice wines and great food without the Insta crowd of McLaren Vale.
Monarto safari park is also a 20 minute drive away and is a great way to spend a day.  
Honestly though, chances are you'll get onto the Ark, breath in, sit in an egg chair and unwind watching the river...its addictive!

Some of the finest food the region has to offer. Friendly hosts and perfect to sit out the front when the weather is nice. Plenty of space inside if you prefer but make sure you book ahead, the good food is obviously know locally!!

A hidden little Gem for nice wines and chocolates! There's a small cafe with a beautiful garden out the back that attracts lots of Blue Wrens. 

They also sell a good range of Vasse Virgin products that smell divine.

The River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve is Australia's first.

It joins an elite group of remarkable dark places around the world. The Reserve includes some 80 kilometres of the magnificent River Murray, small townships, Conservation Parks, farmland, and some of the darkest skies on the planet.

At just 90 minutes from the South Australian capital Adelaide, the Reserve is readily accessible to visitors.
